At Last - A Comfortable Truck Seatbelt!

As suspension seats rise and fall with the movement of a truck's chassis,
Autoliv's compensating retractable seatbelt automatically adjusts the seatbelt
fit and correct tightness for driver comfort

TYPE ONE: STANDARD, FACTORY FIT SOLID SEAT
Standard seatbelt configuration. If mounted on "B" pillar or similar,
generally 90/90 ELR belt. Buckle either seat mounted. Part number K4557
(90/90 + Stem 165). Depending on the age of the vehicle there may not be
a hole in the "B" pillar to fit the retractor so an "O/B" (outboard
mounted) type will be required. K6254. (O/B90/90 + Stem 165). |

TYPE TWO: SUSPENSION SEATS - OFTEN AIR CONTROLLED
If the retractor unit is on the vehicle "B" pillar a special retractor
unit is required as the motion of the seat is going up and down making
the standard retractor frequently lock up and become very uncomfortable
for the driver. Part number: KN4557 for a vehicle with a retractor
inside the pillar. Part Number: KN6254 for a vehicle with a retractor
mounted outside the pillar. |
